My name is Kaitlyn Soroka and I am the face behind Florida Grown Adventure- a gardening journal. I live in Central Florida, zone 9b, with my husband and two daughters. Not sure if you could tell or not, but I am pretty obsessed with plants. It’s basically my entire personality at this point. I love all plants: the indoor kind, the outdoor kind, & the smokable kind. Certified chaotic gardener & medical marijuana patient.

I am a backyard gardener trying to learn all there is about all the types of gardening. I have 200+ square feet of raised bed gardening space. I also have many containers and will be learning more about inground gardening in 2024/2025. Chris helps with the building work/heavy lifting. Harper helps with much of the gardening work. & Addison… well, she likes to hang about for moral support.
